My daughter was already doing Singapore Math as part of her homeschool curriculum, so although we had never done online tutoring before, we decided to give Questationmath a try. I was very impressed with the professional, tireless staff, who were also very kind and patient as they helped us set up for the lessons.

After our initial orientation, which included a phone call from Singapore to discuss equipment, and a fun online "trial lesson", I turned to my 12 year old (who takes all this internet/computer stuff for granted) and said, "When I was your age, THIS was science fiction." We were excited to try this new (for us) method of learning. She thoroughly enjoyed her lessons with the Questation tutor - the experience reinvigorated her interest in math.

My first grader was struggling with memorizing her addition facts up to 20, so instead of moving on to 1B, I decided to stop at 1A and focus on memorization for a while. I perused through 1B and was skeptical that she would be able to move forward and add double digits, especially carrying over from the ones to the tens column. (My daughter also looked at 1B and said "I can't add all of that!). Yet, when she started her tutoring with Questation, her tutor jumped right into 1B and within two weeks, my daughter quickly caught on to the concepts of adding double digits. It was wonderful to see how her tutor broke down the problems so my daughter could see the process step by step. It is very enlightening to me to see how the tutor approaches the concepts

I just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with your program thus far. We have been using the Singapore Math Program for 3 years beginning with my eldest son (in high school now) and I feel that you have a valuable add-on for the homeschoolers. My son is very excited about the lessons and likes doing the math problems on the computer. He is the quiet type who has problems expressing himself and haven't done well in Math.
