Our Syllabus

" Teaching is not a science; it is an art. If teaching were a science there would be a best way of teaching and everyone would have to teach like that. Since teaching is not a science, there is great latitude and much possibility for personal differences. ... let me tell you what my idea of teaching is. Perhaps the first point, which is widely accepted, is that teaching must be active, or rather active learning. ... the main point in mathematics teaching is to develop the tactics of problem solving."

George Pólya (1887-1985). Hungarian Mathematician whose problem-solving approach in Mathematics influenced thousands of Mathematics educators.

Our curriculum follows closely the scope and sequence of a full range of Singapore Math curriculum ranging from Primary Mathematics Series Textbook, New Elementary Mathematics Textbook and other books currently in use in Singapore.

It is the first choice Mathematics curriculum for numerous homeschoolers around the world and is also adopted by an increasing number of school districts all over the US. It is first developed in 1981 by the Curriculum Development Institute of Singapore, CDIS (Now known as the Curriculum Planning & Development Division, CPDD) Therefore the parent is well assured of a tested and proven learning material that has helped hundreds of thousands of Singapore students to excel in maths over the past 2 decades.

The detailed breakdown is presented in the various level: Primary 1, Primary 2, Primary 3, Primary 4, Primary 5 and Primary 6.
